Why Sponsor The Artist?

A partnership between your company and a top professional and TV personality such as Kevin Painter can be very beneficial to both parties.

Sponsoring Kevin brings you huge and relatively cheap TV exposure; Sky sports & ITV4 have televised darts tournaments in recent years, with viewers peaking at 1 million at times; in fact the last World Championships received over 1.7 million viewers at it’s peak, proving the sport is still growing!

The demographic is a mainly male & working class, although with the growth of darts (it’s the largest indoor sport in the UK, and 2nd most popular sport on Sky Sports), and the new glitzy Sky presentation, that audience is starting to change, becoming younger, and more balanced with many women now becoming fans.

At the 2011 World Championships, Prince Harry was seen in the crowd, and Stephen Fry is a well know fan (who has also commentated at a darts event), and in 2012 we also saw more royalty, in the shape of Olympian Zara Phillips, attending the darts world champs.  Many other sports personalities like to be associated with darts, including footballers such as Michael Owen and Robbie Savage.

Kevin’s high world ranking  assures him appearances in the majority of all the TV tournaments, and in 2011 he won every game including a long final of the Player Championships finals on ITV4, giving his sponsors even more TV time and exposure.

The Artist’s many interviews in local and national press and on TV while wearing his sponsors names also give a great secondary exposure for those who are part of his team.
