Coral UK open qualifiers start today

THE Coral UK Open Qualifiers for professional players will commence today with the first three £50,000 tournaments at Wigan’s Robin Park Tennis Centre.

Over 220 PDC Tour Card Holders and PDPA Associate Members will compete in the three days of UK Open Qualifiers in Wigan as they bid to win their places in the Televised Finals at the Butlins Minehead Resort in March.

Kevin Painter will obviously be planning to do enough on these three days to qualify well, taking the pressure of the following 3 qualifiers.

Prize money in the Coral UK Open Qualifiers this year has increased to £50,000 per event, in line with Players Championship tournaments, with the leading 96 players, plus ties, from the final Coral UK Open Order of Merit to qualify for the Televised Finals.

All games will be the best of 11 legs, with the leading 32 players from the PDC Order of Merit who have entered being exempt to the Last 128 stage, where they are drawn at random with one player per board.

Kev’s results will be posted below during the long weekend, come-on the Artist!
